Having a 'senior' moment..
So, the other day I was brushing my teeth...
It was just before bedtime, and as usual I brush my teeth before going to bed. I have two toothbrushes: the standard old Oral-B manual brush that takes elbow grease to work, and a rechargable Braun Oral-B electric brush. I tend to alternate between these two brushes, sometimes using the manual one on one night, and if I feel I need a really super cleaning, I will use the electric one.
If anyone has ever used a Braun electric brush, I think you will find it has a feature that interrupts the power after about two minutes. The brush runs for 2 minutes, and does a sort of rapid stop/start for a few times, then continues on for another two minutes. This stop/start signal is a sort of feedback mechanism for the user - to ensure that the brush is used for at least 2 minutes in order to get the proper cleaning effect from the brush.
So, the other night, I had picked up my 'manual' toothbrush and was busy brushing my teeth before bed, and I found myself waiting for the stop/start action so I would know when to stop brushing. Duh! I think I am getting old!

lol! BTW- you should always use the electric toothbrush because the other one recedes the gums. And could cause sensitivity. I had sensitive teeth and my hygenist suggested I use the electric one and Sensodine, and I haven't had any problems since.
Yeah, I know.. but I am too lazy.. it takes too long with the electric brush.
